Year: 2001-2002

This historical shop in Bormio, located just in the main street of the town, asked us to re-design the interiors keeping in mind the great amount of tourists during the year and a choice of very resistant materials (in winter it happens customers enter the shop wearing ski-boots). The chosen style is simple but with a touch of colour, to better show the articles sold in the shop.

We designed a window display for Panasonic air conditioners, to be used on Spanish market, on request from Bassat & Ogilvy, Barcelona. The project was then produced.

Year: 2009

This company coordinates a chain of  shops in franchising all over Italy. This is the interior design for their show room in Vasto, opened in May 2009, to be used for their future shops as well. Considering the nature of products sold in their shops, we headed towards the emotional sphere, furnishing the rooms with pictures focused on nature and ecology, making the location bright and comfortable.

In 2005 a very innovative project began: Buonitalia company wished to sell and spread DOP and IGP Italian products inside all national museums, combining art to the pleasure of good Italian food, two aspects positively connoting Italy but, until then, never proposed so clearly. Together with the media agency  T & B Communications we designed the interiors of selling points in a very detailed way, studying all the possible range of exhibition, conservation and eating of products.

Year: 2009-2010

We designed the interios for a new chain of knitwear shops. The aim was a maximum flexibility and the possibility of using the pieces of furniture in any kind/size of shop inside malls. Style had to be contemporary and enhance the variety of products. Great importance was given to lighting and materials. The brand for this new collection was designed by  T & B Communication, Rome.

I wished to recreate with glass the waves originating on the surface of  water when someone launches something in it, to convey a sense of pureness and silence. Despite the significant thickness of glass, it seems me we got a proper result.

Project developed together with the artist Marcello Morandini

The company asked to design a new system to cover old parts of the factory without stopping production or mounting obtrusive sites. With the artist Marcello Morandini we thought about a system of aluminum extrusions, production specialty of Metra, with different decorating-constructive patterns to create a high impact architectural façade: essential and contemporary. This project is temporarily suspended.

We designed a dishwasher with a clean and rational look, inserting this collection of products in the minimalist trend, not exasperating geometrical lines and trying to satisfy demands both of clumsy and technologically aware purchasers. The designing of this dishwasher took us almost one year from control panel, to handle, front door and side panels. Evo Space dishwasher has three different versions: “digit” (high end), “easy logic” (middle range) and “easy” (economic range).

First of many projects realized in 4 years as creative Mgr. of M.O.D.I.A. Design and active co-operation with Honda R & D Europe, Nea was the study of an aesthetics for 125 cc engine having the grit and sportiveness of a bike still with the room to place helmet and briefcase in it, turning to a metropolitan, daily use such as a scooter.
